Welcome to Holiday Island. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, mobile experiences, and booking services (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Who we are

Holiday Island operates as a booking platform for accommodation, transfers, taxis, excursions, and car rentals in Mauritius. We connect you with independent suppliers who deliver the services you book.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and make bookings.

3. Bookings

• A booking is confirmed only once you receive a confirmation from us.
• Prices are shown in your selected currency and include applicable taxes and fees unless stated otherwise.
• We act as an intermediary; the supplier is responsible for the actual delivery of each service.

4. Payments

• Payment is processed securely through our approved payment providers.
• You authorise us to charge the total amount shown at checkout, including any applicable charges.

5. Changes and cancellations

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation Policy, which is presented to you at checkout and forms part of these Terms.

6. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate traveller details and arrive on time for booked services.
• Comply with the reasonable rules of each supplier.
• Treat suppliers, staff, and property with respect.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Holiday Island is not liable for the acts or omissions of independent suppliers. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the booking concerned.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on the Platform, and material changes will be notified to you.
